The Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE) is one of the earliest not-for-profit engineering societies in USA.The student chapter of CIE at Hopkins was found in 2007. It aims to benefit students and scholars at Hopkins with networking with people working at big IT, engineering, pharmaceutical companies.

JSoccer

Established in 1997 by several Chinese students and scholars, and is the most active sports club in The Johns Hopkins University Chinese communication. Jsoccer was the 1998 champion and 4 consecutive third places of Hua Xia Xue Zi Bei. We also participate GRO soccer soccer summer league and is one of the most competitive teams in this event. There are over 90 members in Jsoccer mailing list. We have regular practice and games every week.

The current captain of Jsoccer are Zheng Zhang, Chenghe Guan and Wengang Zhang.
 


JHU Tennis

Established in 1999 by several Chinese students and scholars who loved to play tennis. This club organizes regular practices, and provides information about tennis classes and finding tennis partners. JHU_Tennis has organized annual JHU Tennis Tournament since 1999, and JHU-UMD Tennis Tournament since 2003.


JHU Badminton

Joint club by undergraduate students, graduate student and scholars in JHU. A very active club with more than 90 members. They play at JHU's Ralph S. O'Conner Recreation Center several time a week. JHU Chinese basketball Club

Organized by basketball fan in JHU. Usually have their regular games
on Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm in S. O'Conner Recreation Center.

 


JHU Table Tennis Club

The Johns Hopkins University Table Tennis Club (JHUTTC) meets during the school year 5 times a week at the Ralph S. O'Conner Recreation Center on the Homewood Campus.

Each session draws players of all skill levels, including undergraduate, graduate students, staff, and faculty. Matches are played on our five professional Butterfly Europa tables and three Stiga Expert Roller tables.
